Students from 125+ Countries Strike for Climate Change

May 24th, 2019 was the international student srike day for climate chnage. The strieks wer originally started by Greta Thunberg in Sweden in August of last year. Now her movement has grown across th eglobe with students everywheres walking out of class every friday in support of climate chnage action. Specifically studenst from 1664 different cities participaed. These strikes are becuase countries are not adherring to the comitment outlined in the Paris Agreement. Countries were to reduce their emission to prevent global temperature fom risign above 1.5°C. 175 countries signed this agreement. Read more about the strike here.
