Climate Action Demanded by Youth Activists

“We showed that we are united and that we, young people, are unstoppable,” This is a statement made by 16 year old Greta Thunberg, the Swedish climate activist. She was just one of the youth activists that spoke during the UN Youth Climate Summit in New York City. This summit comes shortly after the youth lead global climate strikes. Other activists spoke as well, including some from low lying island nations that are parrticularly affected by the threat of climate chnage.
